The Philippines is currently dedicating this month to the ocean. Its rich and wide sugar-white sandy beaches circling around the coastal perimeter of each island boasts all the more the treasures it has stored for all of us.

Particularly in Mactan Island where I am presently located at this very moment, we are proud enough to be one of the top tour destination sites for local visitors as well as foreigners. Our coastal resources, has been restored slowly but surely back to its richness in terms of underwater flora and fauna.

Thanks to the local leaders and the local community for their undying effort to give importance to our sea treasures. And may I also commend some international organizations for their support and trust in helping our country regain its dying ocean environment.

The beach there looks very tempting. I'd travel there if I can. Maybe, one of these days.
