They say, man's best friend is the dog. Might be true. Anyway, i found this topic interesting and i also found this list about the years dedicated to the animals:1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006. Hey! mine falls on one! 1958.
Some interesting statement about this year taken from a Chinese Zodiac:
1. People born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature.
2. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire other people's confidence because they know how to keep secrets.
3. Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric.

6. They can find fault with many things and are noted for their sharp tongues.
7. Dog people make good leaders.
8. They are compatible with those born in the Years of the Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit..."

Hi Ms. B. This should be your year I suppose. The traits of the Dog seem to be made for success.
